This refreshing national drink gained popularity in diner-style restaurants during the 1950s. After losing its popularity, it regained prominence from 2010 onwards with the rise of tonic waters, gin tonics, and bitter profile drinks.
Ingredientes
- 75 ml of transparent pisco
- 150 ml of tonic water
- Lemon twist
- Ice
Preparation
- Fill a glass or goblet with ice cubes to its maximum capacity.
- Stir the ice to chill the glass and remove any excess water that melts in the process.
- Add all the ingredients and serve.
- Garnish with a lemon slice.
- Optional: add a slice of cucumber, papaya slices, and basil leaves.
